Everything shown at the Grand Theft Auto 6 Netflix special

Here’s everything shown off during the Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look.

The Netflix special, which was entirely made up of in-game footage, ran for just over 30 minutes. During the special, several gameplay elements were introduced, though they weren’t fully explained. Check out a blow-by-blow rundown of the show below.

• The GTA 6 Netflix extended look was captured on a base PS5.
• The demo began with a drug deal gone bad, giving us our first extended look at gameplay.
• We then saw Jason walking through Lucia’s apartment and taking food out of the fridge.
• After both left the apartment, we got our first look at the in-game driving and a taste of some of the emergent events around the city.
• Missions can be played as either Jason or Lucia, and missions can be completed either together or separately.
• The Wanted system has changed from GTA 5. Now, a circle on the map will indicate the area in which the cops are tracking the pair, rather than seeing specific mini-map indicators for each police vehicle.
• Players can drive a fan boat across the Florida-style Everglades.
• Working out was shown, but it’s unknown if this was a cut-scene or part of gameplay.
• Players can now use Kayaks on the open water.
• Players can swap masks, hats, and other clothing items before committing a crime, which will reduce the wanted level.
• Players can take on robberies, with one player robbing the store and the other serving as the getaway driver.
• A brief clip saw Lucia drive away as an influencer streamed from her car. The stream chat was shown off on the right of the screen.
• Players can take part in dirt bike races.
• A clip of Lucia parachuting off a building was also shown, which highlighted the draw distance of the game.
• Swapping characters was shown off. The in-game mechanic looks like GTA 5.

The broadcast ended by reconfirming that the game will be released on November 19, 2026.
