Epic’s Batman X Fortnite live stream set for Saturday

Epic Games is set to unveil a Fornite x Batman crossover event, it’s revealed.

The reveal will take place via the YouTube embed on this page on September 21 at 8AM ET / 1pm BST.

According to a prominent Fornite leaker, Batman themed weapons such as the Batarang and Grapnel Gun will appear during the crossover event.

Fornite’s Batman reveal comes days after the launch of a significant Epic Games store promotion, which is offering six free Batman games this week.

The Batman Arkham Collection, which includes Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Knight, are free to download for users, as well as Lego titles Lego Batman and its two sequels.

Epic has also confirmed that the next free games on the store will be Metro 2033 Redux and Everything, which will be available from September 26.

An earlier Fortnite crossover event saw the inclusion of characters from the Avengers: Endgame movie.

The limited time mode had players battling as either Chitauri and Thanos, or wielding Avengers items such as Captain America’s shield or Thor’s hammer.
