Tesla boss appeared as Wario as comedy show satirised Nintendo
One of the world’s richest people, Elon Musk, appeared in a NSFW comedy sketch on Saturday featuring Super Mario characters.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO, who has an estimated worth of $180bn, was hosting the US TV comedy show Saturday Night Live.
The sketch features Musk as Wario, as he faces trial for the murder of Mario during a kart race.
The business magnate is a keen gamer and often tweets about the medium. In January, shares in CD Projekt soared after Musk tweeted positively about Cyberpunk 2077.
It’s not the first time Saturday Night Live has satirised Nintendo this year: in November it created a mock video celebrating Mario’s 35th anniversary.
