Disney Speedstorm enters early access in April

Disney Speedstorm’s early access release date has been announced.

The kart-racer will launch on April 18 in three separate premium versions, each with different additional content. The game is planned to release as a free-to-play title at a later date.

Announced last February and originally scheduled to release in 2022 before a delay,  the combat racing game pits Disney and Pixar heroes and villains against each other on racetracks inspired by the films they appear in.

The standard Founder’s Pack costs $29.99/£29.99 and includes:

• Early access to Disney Speedstorm
• Racer unlock (Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck)
• An additional racer unlock of your choice between Baloo, Belle, The Beast, Elizabeth Swann, Mowgli, or Shang
• 4000 Tokens
• 2 Golden Pass Credits
• Exclusive racing suits for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and the additional racer.
• Exclusive kart liveries for Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and the additional racer.

The Deluxe Founder’s Pack is priced at $49.99/£49.99 and includes:

• Early access to Disney Speedstorm

Disney Speedstorm will support cross-platform play when it arrives on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
