Diablo 4 queues are affecting thousands of players as it appears the game is down due to server issues.
The Diablo 4 server status is currently fluctuating as some players are reporting queues of over an hour. Players are also being greeted by the error code 300202.
VGC have been able to log into the game, but we were then quickly kicked from the server, beginning the process again.
“We are investigating reports of login issues affecting Diablo 4 and working to resolve these as soon as possible,” Blizzard said of the issues in a statement on the login page of Diablo 4.
Diablo 4 features cross-platform play and cross-progression on all platforms, plus up to four-player co-op, including two-player couch co-op on consoles.
Activision Blizzard has claimed that Diablo 4 is Blizzard’s fastest-selling game of all time.
VGC’s 5-star Diablo 4 review said the game sees Blizzard back on top form.
While Blizzard didn’t reveal specific sales figures for the title, it said over 93 million hours of playtime (or over 10,000 years) was recorded during this early access period.
“Our vision at Blizzard is to create legendary experiences for all to share, and Diablo IV is an incredible realization of that vision,” said Blizzard president Mike Ybarra.
“With highly customizable gameplay, gripping storytelling, and plenty of options around how to engage with the world, this masterfully crafted expression of the Diablo universe is an outstanding example of what our talented development teams are capable of.”
“Diablo 4’s always-online requirement is a shame, and a few of the classes are somewhat slow to kick into high gear, but we’re only able to muster minor complaints for what is easily a game-of-the-year frontrunner, and Blizzard’s best game since Diablo 3.”
