December’s Xbox Live Games with Gold could have been revealed early
UPDATE: Xbox confirms The Escapists 2, Tropico 5 and more are headed to the service next month
December’s Xbox Live Games with Gold have possibly been revealed ahead of Microsoft’s official announcement.
According to user Billbill-Kun on Dealabs – who correctly leaked the PS Plus line-ups for September, October and November – November’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles will be:
- The Escapists 2 (Dec 1 – 31)
- Tropico 5 Penultimate Edition (Dec 16 – Jan 15)
- Orcs Must Die! (Dec 1 – 15)
- Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (Dec 16 – 31)
UPDATE: Microsoft has officially announced December’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles, in the process confirming the leaked games and dates above to be accurate.
ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES: November’s Games with Gold included Moving Out (normally $24.99 / £19.99) on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, and Kingdom Two Crowns (normally $19.99 / £15.99).
Xbox 360 games Rocket Knight (normally $14.99 / £9.99) and Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes (normally $19.99 / £14.99) were also available this month.
This week Microsoft launched its Xbox Black Friday sale, featuring discounts of up to 50% on selected titles.
Xbox’s Black Friday promotion, which also includes savings on season passes and DLC, will run until December 2, 2021.
In addition to hundreds of software discounts, Microsoft is offering three months of Xbox Game Pass PC for £1, but the deal is not valid for existing Game Pass Ultimate members.
Last week Microsoft launched a new Xbox Series S Fortnite and Rocket League console bundle in the US, ahead of its worldwide release in December.
Priced at $299.99 / £249.99, it includes the console, download codes for the games, 1,000 Fortnite V-bucks, 1,000 Rocket League Credits, and the Midnight Drive Pack for both titles.
