Call of Duty: Warzone players have discovered how to use in-game phone messages to open a secret 11th bunker and unlock the Mud Dauber SMG.
The discovery is part of a new meta-game introduced with this week’s game update, which enabled players to open ten locked bunker doors which have been present on Warzone’s game map since launch.
Players have since discovered how to use the mysterious in-game phones – also present since launch – to unlock a special 11th bunker, which houses further puzzles understood to be part of a Black Ops Cold War reveal campaign.
In order to unlock the 11th bunker, players must first activate one of several phones located around the game map which play an activation code in Russian.
Players must then use the activation code and use the three corresponding phones located around the map in order.
Bunker 11, which is located at the North of Warzone’s map, will then unlock. Inside are several rooms including one which houses the Mud Dauber SMG, which should unlock for all players once collected.
There’s also a room housing a nuclear warhead which is likely to lead to further puzzles, culminating in a reveal for the next Call of Duty game.
VGC understands that the next Call of Duty game will be called Black Ops Cold War and return to the historical settings of the 2010 original, as was first reported by our network partners Eurogamer.
