Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is on sale in UK Black Friday deals
Update: Retailers have knocked £18 off the RRP of the new Call of Duty
UK retailers are offering significant discounts on the console versions of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 as part of their Black Friday sales.
Activision’s shooter, which was only released two weeks ago, can currently be purchased for under £55 (RRP £69.99) on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

If players would rather buy the digital edition of Modern Warfare 3, it’s available for £59.49 on the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store, and for £55.99 on Steam for the PC version.
Activision claimed this week that Modern Warfare 3 has seen record engagement levels compared to its predecessors.
“Thank you for a historic launch,” it said on Tuesday. “Just two weeks in, MWIII has already set records with the highest engagement in the new Modern Warfare Trilogy!”
According to the publisher, the game has seen “more hours per player overall” than 2019’s Modern Warfare and last year’s Modern Warfare 2.

What’s probably more telling than the game’s engagement stats is what hasn’t been announced – sales figures and revenue generated.
While there isn’t much publicly available Modern Warfare 3 sales data yet, physical sales during its launch week in the UK were down 25% compared to its predecessor’s.
