Bungie warns over Destiny boss’s ‘extremely loud roar’ that’s scaring players
The developer has advised players to turn down their audio due to the bug
A Destiny 2 bug is terrifying players by producing an extremely loud roar when they’re killed by a specific boss.
Triggered during the King’s Fall raid, when a team is wiped during the fight with Golgoroth, a bug is causing a deafening roar to be triggered, which has led to a series of popular reaction videos from startled players.
Bungie has said it is aware and investigating the issue, and recommends that players lower their volume during the fight.
What makes this glitch even more unusual is that it seems that only certain members of the party experience the incredibly loud noise, causing them to scream in fear while the rest of their team are none the wiser.
Bungie announced earlier this week that Destiny 2 is now available on the Epic Games Store.
Until August 30, players can also download the game’s 30th Anniversary Pack (normally $24.99 / £21.99) free from Epic’s marketplace.
The news was announced during a Destiny 2 showcase on Tuesday, when Bungie also confirmed an earlier leak that Destiny skins will be coming to Fortnite and to Fall Guys on September 17.
Bungie also said that all of Destiny 2’s expansions (Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen) are now free to play for the next week on all platforms.
Bungie also confirmed a February 28, 2023 release date for Destiny 2’s Lightfall expansion.
And it revealed the Season of Plunder, which started earlier this week. The new six-player activity sees Guardians “engage in ship-to-ship combat to stop Eramis and her pirate crew from wreaking chaos across the galaxy”.
