Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito will reportedly star in Far Cry 6

Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian actor Giancarlo Esposito will reportedly star in Far Cry 6.

That’s according to GameReactor, which claims that Esposito’s recent comments about starring in a “huge” video game were in reference to the Ubisoft shooter.

If true, Esposito would be the second Breaking Bad actor to star in a Far Cry game, following Michael Mando’s role as key villain Vaas in Far Cry 3.

A new Far Cry game has yet to be officially announced. However, in May Ubisoft confirmed that it planned to launch one unannounced AAA title in its current fiscal year ending in March 2021.

Other games set for release during Ubisoft’s current fiscal year include this holiday’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, plus the previously delayed Watch Dogs Legion, Gods and Monsters and Rainbow Six Quarantine.

It said three games, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, will be released during the third quarter ending in December 2020, and two in the fourth quarter.

All of Ubisoft’s games announced for release in its current fiscal year will be available on current and next-gen consoles.

Ubisoft’s July event, Ubisoft Forward, will be the company’s first fully digital conference and promises to include exclusive game news and product reveals.
