Black Ops 4’s Operation Dark Divide has a heroes and villains theme
Featuring new Blackout, Zombies and multiplayer content
Treyarch has detailed Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s new content season, Operation Dark Divide, which is available now on PS4 ahead of its rollout on Xbox One and PC soon.
Featuring a heroes and villains theme, it introduces several new features across the shooter’s Blackout, Zombies and multiplayer modes, although some of the content’s only available to Black Ops pass holders.
We’ve listed the key updates below, which are explained in further detail on Treyarch’s blog, and are also discussed by developers Craig Houston, Tony Flame, Miles Leslie, and Matt Scronce in the video at the bottom of this article.
New playable content should launch on Xbox One and PC seven days after it’s released on PS4, in line with Sony’s exclusivity deal with Call of Duty publisher Activision.

This year’s Call of Duty game, Modern Warfare, launches on October 25. Activision recently confirmed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare DLC maps and modes won’t be timed exclusives.
