Billie Eilish is coming to Fortnite, seemingly corroborating a 2024 roadmap leak

Billie Eilish is coming to Fortnite this month.

Following in the footsteps of The Weeknd and Lady Gaga, the singer-songwriter will be the third featured artist in free-to-play music game Fortnite Festival, which was released in December.

Developed by Rock Band studio Harmonix, which Epic Games acquired in 2021, Fortnite Festival lets players perform in a band with friends or play solo with tracks from popular artists.

Confirmation that Eilish will join Fortnite on April 23 arrives days after the star’s appearance in the game was included on what’s claimed to be a leaked 2024 content roadmap image.

If genuine, post apocalyptic (Mad Max?) and Marvel seasons of Fortnite battle royale could be on the way, ahead of the launch of another OG Season and Chapter 6 in the fourth quarter of the year.

Alongside Eilish, Metallica and Snoop Dogg could also be upcoming Fortnite Festival featured artists, the roadmap suggested.

Disney recently announced that it’s investing $1.5 billion to acquire an equity stake in Epic Games.

It was also revealed that the companies have teamed up to build a new universe connected to Fortnite that will let users “play, watch, shop and engage” with content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and Avatar.
