Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare seemingly headed to PlayStation Plus Classics

Plans to add Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare to the PlayStation Plus Classics library have seemingly leaked.

Sony announced January 2024’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics titles on Wednesday.

As spotted by Push Square, PlayStation UK’s X account initially listed Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare as one of this month’s upcoming PlayStation Plus titles, before deleting the message.

PlayStation Access, the official YouTube channel of PlayStation UK, also reportedly included the 2001 PS1 game in its video round-up of this month’s PS Plus releases, before the video was edited to remove mention of the title.

Assuming it’s coming to the subscription service at a later date, The New Nightmare’s release could be timed to coincide with the upcoming Alone in the Dark reboot, which was recently delayed for a second time.

Originally scheduled for release in October 2023 before being delayed to this month, the game will now launch on March 20, 2024.

This month’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics titles are scheduled for release on January 16.
