All Xbox owners can play Modern Warfare 3 and EA Sports FC 24 for free this weekend
Lego 2K Drive and Aliens: Fireteam Elite are available for Game Pass subscribers to sample too
All Xbox owners can play two of this year’s biggest games for free this weekend.
Free access to EA Sports FC 24 is now available until December 17 at 11.59pm PT (December 18 at 2.59am ET / 7.59am GMT).
And as part of a free Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer trial that’s also available on PlayStation consoles and PC, the game’s now unlocked until December 18 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
An Xbox Game Pass membership isn’t required to access either of the titles for free, Microsoft said.
Lego 2K Drive and Aliens: Fireteam Elite are also available this weekend as part of Xbox’s long-running Free Play Days promotion, which lets Game Pass subscribers try out the full versions of selected games each weekend at no additional charge.
Member can play both games for free until December 17 at 11.59pm PT (December 18 at 2.59am ET / 7.59am GMT).
Modern Warfare 3’s free trial includes access to five of the game’s remastered maps (Terminal, Rust, Highrise, Shipment, Afghan), the brand-new Season 1 map Meat, which is set in a slaughterhouse in California’s Port of Oakland, and three Ground War maps.
Multiplayer modes available include Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Ground War and War. Modern Warfare Zombies is also included.
Microsoft recently suggested it’s exploring the possibility of offering access to Xbox Game Pass streaming in exchange for viewing advertisements.
