Alan Wake 2 The Lake House will release next week
The DLC will release alongside the physical version of the game
Alan Wake 2’s second DLC, The Lake House, will launch next week.
The Lake House will be released on October 22.
This DLC unfolds parallel to the main game, putting you in the shoes of FBC agent Kiran Estevez, portrayed by Janina Gavankar.
The Lake House will launch alongside the physical version of the game.
The DLC appears to feature references and locations from another Remedy franchise, Control.
“Dive into a harrowing survival horror experience with the latest expansion for Alan Wake 2, set in an eerie new location on the shores of Cauldron Lake,” reads an official description for the expansion.
“Within the Federal Bureau of Control’s research station, the Lake House, a catastrophic event has occurred, where reckless experiments have caused reality to collide with the Dark Place.”
The Lake House will be available with the Alan Wake 2 Expansion Pass, which is included in both the digital Deluxe Edition and the upcoming physical Deluxe and Collector’s editions of the game.
Players who own the Standard Edition of Alan Wake 2 will need to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition to access the DLC.
Alan Wake 2 was VGC’s game of the year for 2023. Its first expansion, Night Springs, was released in June.
