A global release for Persona 5: The Phantom X is being considered
The mobile and PC spin-off recently launched in some Asian countries
A global release for Persona 5: The Phantom X is being considered, according to IP owner Sega.
Perfect World Games released the Persona spin-off for iOS, Android and PC in April, in selected Asian countries including China and South Korea.
In a quarterly earnings presentation published on Friday, Sega said the game has started off “as expected” and that “future expansion in Japan and global is under consideration.”
Sega said in February that Persona 3 Reload had reached one million sales faster than any other Atlus game to date.
The modernised remake of Persona 3 reached the sales milestone within seven days of its release for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. It’s also available on Xbox Game Pass.
A reliable Atlus insider recently claimed that Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor: ReFantazio are coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
It was recently confirmed that Metaphor: ReFantazio will be released on October 11, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PC.
It’s also been claimed that Persona 6 is being planned for release on Xbox consoles, in addition to other platforms.
