As a five-star Spectro Support character (and top-tier botanist), you’ll do well to learn how to build Verina with her key strengths of caring in mind. Forget, and you’ll wind up with a bubbly personality who can’t do much for your team besides swap in to take a lethal hit.

Which stats to prioritise for Verina

Verina benefits massively from Spectro DMG but still scales better with raw damage modifiers. The harder she hits, the more she’ll heal the team and build up the skills needed to pass powerful buffs onto incoming characters.

With that in mind, aim for Crit%, Crit DMG, and ATK% as sub-stats when given the option with low-cost equips.

Best Sonata set for Verina

Given she’s largely used as a supporting healer, Verina should always be built with the Rejuvenating Glow set.

With a fixed healing bonus and a handy ATK boost when passing off to another party member, it’s the one that properly speaks to Verina’s kit.

Impermanence Heron gives Verina another easy way to build up Resonance and make way for your primary damage dealer.

Simply using her Outro skill after landing a single hit with the Heron gives the next character in line a flat 12 damage increase for 15 seconds. That’s on top of the 22.5% boost of the same duration from the 5-set bonus. It’s a no-brainer. Fill with the Chasm and Rocksteady Guardians and you’re off to the races.

The best weapons for Verina

If you’re able to get your hands on them, the Cosmic Ripples are the best Rectifiers to give Verina.

While Encore benefits massively from the Basic Attack bonus of this weapon, Verina puts the Energy Regen aspect to great use: though she enjoys the ATK% sub-stat that scales her heals and shields. The stacking Basic Attack buffs aren’t bad, either.

Can’t swing a 5-star weapon? Aim for Rectifier25. Coming with a handy Energy Regen sub-stat and a flat 12% ATK boost whenever you’re above 60% (and a heal to get you there) there’s plenty of rewards to reap from this more common weapon for Verina.

Best team comps for Verina

Being a buffer who’s there to welcome in your next character with a massive stack of damage buffs, Verina is best paired with powerful DPS options like Sanhua and Rover. If you have both, use them. If you only have one, consider putting Aalto in the Sub-DPS slot.
