The best Wuthering Waves Encore builds will ensure that your enemies feel the heat from the starry-eyed Black Shores consultant and her plush buddies.
Always accompanied by two soft and squishy Woolies, you’d be wrong to assume that she’s a helpful healer. Though even her name screams support, she’s a hard-hitting powerhouse who barely relies on active abilities to blast through her enemies.
The best Wuthering Waves Encore build
Here’s a brief look at what makes up a good build for Encore in the Support role. Read on for the details:
- Stat priority: Crit Rate/Damage, Fusion DMG, ATK
- Sonata set: Molten Rift (5-piece)
- Echoes: Inferno Rider, Heron, Dreadmane
- Weapon: Stringmaster
- Pairings: Yinlin/Sanhua/Aalto, Baizhi/Verina
Best stats for Encore
Even as a supporting player, Encore greatly benefits from offensive stats. Crit Rate/DMG from high-cost Echoes is a given, with Fusion DMG and raw ATK the aim for other Echoes.
For sub-stats, Crit Rate/DMG and ATK/Basic Attack DMG should all come before Resonance Skill DMG.
Best Sonata set for Encore
Encore should lean heavily on the Molten Rift 5-piece Echo set. Both set bonuses offer Fusion DMG up, which massively aids Encore’s damage potential over time.
Best Echoes for Encore
Inferno Rider as the main Echo provides ample extra Fusion and Basic Attack DMG.
For Elite Echoes, go for both Dreadmane and Heron. Dreadmane is easier to use with its dodge restoring plenty of Concerto points, but the risk of counterattacking with Heron will be rewarded. It depends on skill level and the situation at hand.
Best weapons for Encore
With the potential to provide up to 36% CRIT. Rate at its highest level, Stringmaster is the 5-star weapon to aim for with Encore. Its Electric Amplification skill boosts Encore’s Resonance by 12% and lets her stack to instances of 12% ATK buffs just by landing her skill. One stack even persists when she’s switched out.
Best team comps for Encore
Encore, when used as a Main DPS, pairs well with Sanhua, Verina, and Baizhi.
Those last two are Support/Healer characters more often than not. Either run both or pick a favourite to pair with Sanhua as a Sub-DPS who’ll boost Encore’s already powerful basic attacks via his Outro.
Verina is probably the better pick, but being a 5-star, she’s also harder to pull and build up.
