The third Blue Medallion quest takes place at the castle gates as you transition into the next area of the game. This is one of the quickest blue medallion quests, as all of them are in a very small area.

Throughout the game, there are  6 of these Destroy the Blue Medallion quests, each of which rewards the player with Spinels. These can be traded with the merchant for special items.

Resident Evil 4 Blue Medallions Castle Gate

Castle Gate Blue Medallions are all contained in a small area. They can all be destroyed while you’re attempting to blow the castle gate open and enter the next area of the game.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion 1

The first Castle Gate Blue Medallion is hanging above the locked door you’ll encounter as you head towards the canon.

Castle Gate Blue Medallion 2

The next Castle Gate Blue Medallion is hanging up high, near the first Castle Gate Blue Medallion. Look up towards the side of the castle with several enemy canons, and you’ll see the Castle Gate Blue Medallion.

The next Castle Gate Blue Medallion is hanging from a tree, off the side of the castle ramparts. Look down to find it hanging in the wind.

You’ll find the next Castle Gate Blue Medallion behind a gate that’s underneath the canon you use to blast open the castle gate.

The next Castle Gate Blue Medallion is hanging below one of the enemy canons that you have to blow up with a red barrel. It’s also below the Castle Gate Blue Medallion that’s hanging up high.

The next Castle Gate Blue Medallion is hanging near one of the canons.

WARNING: This request can only be completed when you have access to the castle. If you leave the castle, and go to the island section of the game in Chapter 12, you can no longer return to the castle gate and complete this request.  Completing the request will reward you with Spinels that you can trade for special items at the merchant.
