Pokémon Pokopia: Are Shiny Pokémon in Pokopia?
Can you find the elusive Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Pokopia?

If you’re starting Pokémon Pokopia and wondering if Shiny Pokémon are in the game, this guide will explain Shiny Pokémon and their role.
Shiny Pokémon are a mechanic that dates back to the second generation of Pokémon games. A Shiny Pokémon is a rare Pokémon that appears with a color variant, for example, a black Charizard rather than a traditional orange one.
In the main series, it’s possible to find these Pokémon via luck, or in some cases, they’ve appeared as part of the story, like the red Gyarados at the beginning of Pokémon Gold and Silver.
Are Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Pokopia?

At the time of writing, after hundreds of hours of gameplay and consulting with others who have played the game, it currently appears that Shiny Pokémon aren’t in Pokémon Pokopia.
It is, of course, possible that there is a small chance that one of the Pokémon that returns to your world in Pokémon Pokopia could be Shiny, but since you only get one chance to encounter each Pokémon, this seems unlikely.
Pokémon Pokopia, you only find one of each species of Pokémon, so it’s likely there are no Shiny Pokémon, and no way to Shiny hunt. It’s possible that in future events, Shiny Pokémon will appear in the game, but currently, none of the Pokémon that you’ll find in Pokémon Pokopia can be Shiny.
