Wondering where to get the Whipped Dream and evolve Swirlix in Pokémon Legends Z-A?
Pokémon Legends Z-A introduces a lot of new things, but it also brings some things back, including special evolution conditions.
One of the Pokémon that you can only evolve via these conditions is Swirlix, so in this guide, we’re going to show you how to get the Swirlix evolution item, the Whipped Dream, and then how to evolve the Pokémon.
If you’re looking for a guaranteed Whipped Dream to evolve Swirlix, you can get one via a side mission. Once you’ve unlocked side missions, head to Side Mission 14, which you can find from the menu screen.
This is less of a side mission and more of a series of cutscenes, but once you’ve watched all of these cutscenes, you’ll be given a Whipped Dream for free.
Give this to a Swirlix, and then trade the Swirlix to another player who also has a Swirlix with a whipped dream, and you’ll both end up with Slurpuff.

Are you missing your Swirlix? Well, Swirlix can appear on the top of canopies throughout the city, the same as Spirtzee. Swirlix’s evolution, Slurpuff, can’t appear in the wild, and can’t appear as an Alpha Pokemon.
