Pets Go codes (December 2024)

Pets Go codes aren’t likely to surface without the usual Big Games merchandise run, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for freebies as the game enjoys it’s second month of operation.

Pets Go, known as Pet RNG just hours before its release, is a spin-off of the Pet Simulator series of Roblox experiences. New Pets Go codes are typically tied to merch sales like previous entries, but you never know if  the developers might decide to add a freebie.

How do I use codes in Pets Go?

A post-release patch added a way to redeem Pets Go codes in game. It follows the same process as Pet Simulator X and Pet Simulator 99:

• Launch Pets Go through Roblox.
• Open the Shop menu from the left side of the screen.
• Scroll to the bottom of the Shop menu.
• Click the green Redeem button on the Redeem Codes banner.
• Enter a working Pets Go code in the box that appears.
• Click Redeem.

How to get Pets Go codes

Pets Go codes are included in most Pet Simulator merchandise. If you’re in a country where they’re stocked, supermarkets and toy stores are the best places to look.

Pet Simulator codes can be used in any Pet Simulator 99 and Pets Go—but only once, and in one game alone. That means when buying Pet Simulator merch, you can only enter the code in one game before it expires. You can’t have both.

Do the Pet Simulator McDonalds toys come with codes?

No, the Pet Simulator Happy Meal toys set to launch in the US soon will not come with exclusive Pets Go codes.

Various similar drops have happened at McDonalds restaurants around the world, with none of them including new codes.

Is Pet RNG like Pet Simulator 99/X?

Pets Go is a spin-off of Pet Simulator, Pet Simulator X, and Pet Simulator 99 by Big Games.

It uses the RNG mechanic of recent Roblox hits as opposed to the manual egg-hatching gameplay loop of previous games. Though details are still scarce, the game page outlines the gameplay loop as “roll the dice, collect pets, buy upgrades!”

How to see your pets in Pets Go

You need to unlock the Inventory upgrade to see which pets you’ve unlocked in Pets Go. The further you go in the upgrade tree, the more of the full UI you’ll uncover. It should be your forth upgrade. Just keep hatching eggs.
