Overwatch 2: When does preload go live?

Overwatch 2 is around the corner and fans are ready to finally jump into the sequel to Blizzard‘s incredibly popular hero-based shooter.
Before the full release of Overwatch, players can download the game so they’re ready to jump in as soon as the servers are live.
But when is the Overwatch 2 preload and when does it go live on each platform? Read on to find out.
Overwatch 2: When does preload go live?
Overwatch 2 preload begins on September 30 1:30pm PT / 4:30pm ET / 9:30pm BST / 10:30pm CEST for PC players who already own Overwatch.
On console, preloading for the game is expected to take place much later, on October 4th 9am PT / 12pm PT / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST.
The game will then launch later that day on October 4th, at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST.
Blizzard recently revealed new Overwatch 2 hero Kiriko and explained how the free-to-play game’s battle pass will work.

The premium battle pass will cost 1,000 Overwatch Coins (equivalent of $10), which can be purchased directly or earned over time by completing weekly challenges.
