How to do tactical stance in MW3
- By default, you can do tactical stance in Modern Warfare 3 by pressing down on the D-pad when you’re aiming down sights.

You can also move much faster when you’re in tactical stance, and hip firing in tactical stance is much more accurate than hip firing in normal stance, so if you’re the type of player that likes to zip around the map at full speed picking up kills, particularly if you’re using a shotgun, this is the stance for you.
