How to get heat resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

One of the ways you can get heat resistance in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is to buy some armor that comes with levels of heat resistance, although this isn’t cheap.

One of the first chances you’ll get to do this is when you reach the Gerudo Desert and you run into the Voe for the first time. Once you reach the Kara Kara Bazaar you’ll be able to purchase the Desert Voe Headband which comes with a level of heat resistance for 450 Rupees.

The other way to get heat resistance is by cooking.

The best recipe we’ve found for consistent heat resistance is to find Chillfin Trout, which can be found in most of the lakes and rivers around Hyrule, especially in the snowier areas.

Cooking five of these will give you access to a recipe for a Chilly Fish Skewer, which is by far one of the best ways in the whole game to get two levels of heat resistance, and it’ll also replenish your hearts.
