How to prepare for the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Golden Saucer date
The member of your party with the highest relationship level with Cloud is the character that will go on the date with him during your first playthrough of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Once you’ve completed the game you’re able to replay this section with any of the characters, but your first time through it will always be who you’ve spent the most time with.
There’s a specific main mission choice between a few sets of characters that seems to be the tie-breaker for what character will join you.

When is the Golden Saucer date?
The Golden Saucer date takes place in Chapter 12. You’ll be warned by the game when it’s about to happen so you can prepare.
Who can go on the date?
Everyone in the party can go on the date, however, when some of the characters are selected, they won’t have any romantic elements.

These characters are accounted for in the relationship management menu, as other side characters don’t get full relationship trees with Cloud.
