As with any open-world adventure, one of the first things you’re going to do in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is check the map. But how do you uncover the Dragon’s Dogma 2 full map? 

Well, it’s a lot more effort than you might expect. Nothing in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is easy, and that even extends to the game’s map. The game is all about exploration, and as such, it’s not keen to just uncover the scope of the world

This version of the map does not have every point of interest on it, not by a long shot.  Dragon’s Dogma 2’s world is absolutely massive, but the map above should give you a good indication of where you can explore in the game. The map will also show you if there are areas of Dragons Dogma 2’s map that you’ve yet to visit.


How to uncover the full map

In order to uncover the map in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’re going to have to physically visit the places you want to go, at least on your first playthrough of the game.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 doesn’t have any towers or similar ways to uncover the game’s full map instead, it relies on you to explore the physical space for it to fill in.

If you’re given a quest to visit a specific area on the map, you’ll occasionally get a marker on that location. However, more often than not, you’ll be given a general yellow circle in the direction of your objective.

The best way to traverse the game is to listen to NPCs when they tell you where you should head. They’ll give you pretty specific directions, they just won’t appear in a quest log, or on your map.

There is one way to uncover the entire map in one fell swoop; however, this isn’t possible during your first playthrough of the game.
