Crimson Desert: The Blood Coronation guide

In this main mission, you’re tasked with investigating Duke Caliburn’s old offices to find Myurdin’s whereabouts. To do this, you’ll have to use the memory helmet, the visione, in a slightly different way than you usually do.

Once you’ve crept into the building, the waypoints will lead you to a room on the upper floor where your lantern will glow. As usual, hold the lantern up with LB/L1 until you’ve learned the memory, and then hold the start/menu button to play the memory fragment for the Blood Coronation.

A conversation will play out in front of you and then the two people who entered the room in the memory will exit the way they came. Usually this would be the end of it, but you need to follow them and keep the helmet on.

You’ll come out into the main audience chamber where you’ll see the memory of a bunch of nobles mingling around — do not remove the helmet, and work your way around the room interacting with the various groups of nobles until you trigger a cutscene.

If you mess the sequence up, you have to go right back to the start of the memory so you can tail the two men again. To do this, select the visione from the radial menu (left on the D-pad) and choose the Blood Coronation memory fragment again.

After the cutscene, you’ll have a quick boss fight with Gabriel Caliburn. As with other boss fights, bring plenty of food and make sure to string combos together. Go for the parry to break Caliburn’s stance more quickly.
