Blood of Dawnwalker: What happens after 30 days?
What happens when you run out of time in The Blood of Dawnwalker, explained

The Blood of Dawnwalker is one of the most unique RPGs of the last few years, and that’s because of the in-game timer.
You have a total of 30 in-game days to rescue your family from the evil vampire lord Brencis. In that time, you’ll need to make allies, concoct a plan of attack, and get your family back. There are five distinct endings to learn before the 30-day timer elapses, but you could always just let it time out.
In this guide, we’re explaining what happens when the 30-day timer finishes, and how to keep playing the game after you roll credits in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
What happens after 30 days, explained – BoD

You can still roll the credits, fight the big boss, and finish the game if you stretch the timer past the initial 30 days, but you will miss out on the In the Nick of Time trophy and achievement, as your family will perish at Brencis’ ceremony.
You’ll also miss out on an important epilogue chapter with your family after rescuing them, which adds a decent amount of lore to the game and even teases the future of the series. As a result, you really should ensure that you complete one of the game’s endings before this point.
However, if you’re the type of player that wants to see and do everything in a game, that’s still possible here.
How to keep playing after 30 days – BoD

You can keep playing the game after the 30-day timer has elapsed, but main quests involving your family will no longer be available, and that epilogue will be unavailable.
As a result, you should make several game saves in the days leading up to the end of the timer. You can reload those saves to experience all of the game’s available endings. Once you’ve experienced the endings and are satisfied, you can continue playing the game past the timer, clear through all the side content, and earn any trophies or achievements you’re still interested in.
Unfortunately, you cannot continue playing the game after rescuing your family. You must either start a new game or reload an earlier save.
