During the Stronger Than Achilles quest, you’ll have to make a key decision that feels like it could change the entire game.
When you finally manage to find the Font of Life at the end of the Stronger Than Achilles quest, Anca will suddenly ask to use it. The Font of Life will supposedly heal wounds and grant mystical strength, and you could use that against Brencis, but it could also give Anca the fresh start she’s been dreaming of.
In this guide, we’re breaking down exactly what happens if Coen or Anca take the Font of Life. Yes, you can also destroy the font, but that’s not really worth it, as we explain below.
What happens when Coen gets the Font of Life
When Coen accesses the Font of Life, he gains access to an exclusive perk in the Witchcraft tree called Font of Life.
This grants passive regeneration of Human health. Sure, it only works during the day, but constant health regeneration is incredibly powerful and will make Coen much more fearsome in the battles to come.
The downside is that Anca will be unhappy with Coen for a short time. It’s still possible to romance Anca afterward.
What happens when Anca gets the Font of Life
If Anca gets the Font of Life, her scars from witchcraft disappear, and she can abandon it for good before starting a new life.
This is the best ending for her character. The downside is that you will not be able to earn the Font of Life perk for Coen. Either way, you’ll still be able to romance Anca, which is what really matters.
What happens when Coen destroys the Font of Life
You can also destroy the Font of Life, preventing either Coen or Anca from using it. There’s no point in picking this option, as the more satisfying ending is either having the perk or seeing Anca happy.
