Blood of Dawnwalker: Craft the Arbiter Armor, A Bulwark Against Darkness quest guide

As you explore the world in Blood of Dawnwalker, you might come across rumors of a legendary sword and armor to go along with it.

In case you don’t manage to sniff out the pieces by yourself, you’ll eventually be given a letter that starts the A Bulwark Against Darkness quest. This letter will tell you about St. Mihai’s Silver Sword shards – if you haven’t already found them all – along with the legendary Arbiter Armor.

Finding out about it is one thing, but the crafting materials you need for the Arbiter Armor are actually quite complicated. In this guide, we’re breaking down everything you need to know to craft and unlock the legendary Arbiter Armor in The Blood of Dawnwalker.

Find the Relic of a Saint, location – BoD

You only need one Relic of a Saint, so you’ll probably already have this item in your inventory. These are the relics you can use, and where you can find them:

• Saint’s Tibia (Convent during Echoes of Silenced Bells quest)
• The Relic of St. Tyna (Convent during Echoes of Silenced Bells quest)
• The Relic of St. Dasius (Xanthe’s Mansion during The Cycle of Love quest)
• The Lost Saint’s Relic (During The Night of Horrors quest)

Find a bundle of Silk Threads, location – BoD

The Silk Threads item can be found by undertaking the Sanzhani quests. After completing the Good Home quest, find and complete the Come Hither quest. Inside the burrow where you fight the Murohn, you’ll find the Silk Threads on the floor.

You can also purchase Silk Threads from the Sanzhani in Tsarina’s burrow after completing all Sanzhani tasks.

Find a Flask of Quicksilver, location – BoD

The Flask of Quicksilver can be found on the top floor of Aurelius’s Tower, also known as Silts Tower, in the Southwest of the map.

In order to get through the tower, you’ll have to complete the Home Sweet Home quest, which is a bit of a puzzle. Once it’s complete and you’ve defeated the enemies in the tower, it’s easy to pick up the Flask of Quicksilver and leave.

Find the moult of a large lizard, location – BoD

The Large Lizard’s Moult is located inside a cave in the Maragir Wealds. Nothing points toward it; you simply have to go off the beaten path to find it.

From the Muddy Trail Shrine, head directly East until you see large slime trails leading into a cave. Inside, you’ll find the Large Lizard’s Moult.

How to craft the Arbiter’s Armor set – BoD

Once you have all the materials you need, return to the Uriashi Hermitage. Give the materials to the blacksmith, and she’ll perform the necessary ritual to craft the armor, which includes defeating a shadowy bear.

When the task is done, you’ll be given the full Arbiter’s Armor set, including the following items:

• Enhanced Armor of the Arbiter
• Enhanced Shin Guards of the Arbiter
• Enhanced Boots of the Arbiter
• Enhanced Bracers of the Arbiter

This is a full set of legendary-tier gear, and if you use a blacksmith to keep them at your player level, they’re the strongest armor pieces in the game. If you want the strongest sword to go with it, make sure to craft St. Mihai’s Silver Sword in the Forge It Anew quest.
