Blood of Dawnwalker: All Sanzhani quests, locations, and rewards
How to find and help all Sanzhani fairies in The Blood of Dawnwalker

The Sanzhani are a rare race of powerful fairy-like creatures in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
These creatures will appear for several quests over the course of The Blood of Dawnwalker, and helping each of them will allow you to share messages between yourself and Lunka, your imprisoned sister. For obvious reasons, you’ll need to tackle these quests several days before the end of the in-game time limit in order to get all possible messages.
You’ll only get all possible quest rewards if you find all of the Sanzhani fairies and help all of them. In this guide, we’re breaking down where to find them, which quests they’re involved with, and how to get all possible rewards in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
You’ll earn The Tsarina’s Favourite Human trophy and achievement for locating and completing all tasks given out by the Sanzhani. Even better, completing these quests will allow you to extend the in-game time limit.
Good Home quest guide, first Sanzhana quest – BoD

The first Sanzhana fairy you need to meet is during the Good Home quest — the other fairies and quests will only spawn after you first meet Sanzhani Tsarina.

Just North of Svartrau, you’ll find the Svartrau Outskirts. From the Sandy Gorge Shrine you’ll find a quest titled Good Home. Follow the fairy circles – mushrooms in a ring formation – and you’ll find the entrance to Sanzhani Tsarina’s home.

Heile wants to see her brother Tonis. You should first investigate the ruined village of Oghasti, and then the nearby Wooden Palace. That’ll help you find Tonis, a Coal Burner. After convincing him to see his sister, you’ll be able to trade his sister’s freedom for three Shiny Teeth. You can find Shiny Teeth as a dropped item from humans and the undead.

Return the three Shiny Teeth to Tsarina, and you’ll now be able to undertake the other Sanzhani tasks. After completing each of the below tasks, you can return to Tsarina to send another letter to Lunka. The helped Sanzhana will also appear in Tsarina’s burrow.
Come Hither quest guide, second Sanzhana quest – BoD

You’ll find the Come Hither quest to the North of the Vedera March Guardpost Shrine. In this quest, a nearby Sanzhana will ask you to remove monsters from her burrow.

Sadly, her sisters inside the burrow are already dead, but you can wipe out the Murohn, Malformed Monstrosity, so she can live in relative peace.
Pearly and Precious quest guide, third Sanzhana quest – BoD

To the Southeast of the Military Camp you’ll find the Small Bridge Shrine, and just over the bridge you’ll find an abandoned camp which starts the Pearly and Precious quest.

Follow the trail from the camp, and you’ll encounter another Sanzhana. This one collects teeth from corpses that bandits throw into the ditch. Head Southwest from the Sanzhana to find the bandits and wipe them out. Return to the Sanzhana after to finish the quest.

Burrow Sorrows quest guide, fourth Sanzhana quest – BoD

The Burrow Sorrows quest appears just North of the Boarback Trail Shrine, Northwest of Shrike’s Crag.

This Sanzhana claims that a group of Kobolds have invaded her den and demands that you take care of them. Heading North, you’ll find the Kobold den, and you can crouch down to enter their cave. Inside, wipe the Kobolds out, and remember to take the charm from their crude shrine before you leave.

When you exit, you’ll discover that the Sanzhana was lying. Unlike the one in the Come Hither quest, this one lied so you could wipe out the den, and it’s going to be their den now. Oops.

Tiny Dancer quest guide, final Sanzhana quest – BoD

The Tiny Dancer quest takes place in Svartrau, but only at night. While patrolling the rooftops in the center of town, Coen will mention that he can hear a noise. Using Focus Mode will show you that the noise is coming from the upstairs of a nearby house. You’ll be able to enter from a balcony on the East side of the building.

Once inside, you’ll find a caged Sanzhana. The key will be in the same room, on the desk. Pick it up, free the Sanzhana, and it will tell you that you can find silver in a nearby room. This is the final Sanzhana you need to find, and you can get your rewards from Tsarina in her burrow.
Sanzhani quest rewards, extend the time limit – BoD

Each time you complete a task for the Sanzhani, Tsarina will allow you to receive a message from Lunka while she’s trapped in the cells of Greifberg Castle. Lunka will give you information on how to infiltrate and what to expect. This is in addition to The Tsarina’s Favourite Human trophy and achievement.
Finally, talking with Tsarina after helping all five of the Sanzhani will allow her to push Brencis’ coronation back by a full day. This is the only way we know of to extend the time limit in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
