Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is a social simulation game developed and published by Nintendo.
The game sees players create Mii characters to populate a tropical island, whilst observing and interacting with them. Players can buy and gift them clothing, food, and decorations. Living the Dream also introduces the ability to customize the layout and shape of their island.
This game allows players to directly control interactions between Miis, as well as being able to customize the Miis’ dating preferences.
Key Features
- Populate your island: From their appearance to their personality traits and even little quirks, there are all sorts of ways to customise your Mii characters – including face parts that are unique to this game. Adjust each individual detail to your liking or create Mii characters by answering a series of simple questions. Help them explore their likes and dislikes and form relationships.
- Take care of your community: By picking up and placing Mii characters next to each other, they’ll start hanging out together. Watch as they forge friendships, argue and fall in love. Give them essentials, such as food, outfits, gifts and share advice as they deal with daily life. You can even teach your Mii characters different words and catchphrases which they’ll start using!
- Shape the landscape: Expand and design your island. Place homes, shops, restaurants, and more to give your island residents new places to visit. Decorate their rooms with different interior sets, including furniture, wallpaper and floors. Make original items at the workshop for your Mii characters to enjoy.
