Silent Hill Townfall is an action-adventure horror game developed by Screen Burn and published by Konami.
The spin-off in the classic horror franchise is described as a full-length, self-contained psychological horror “set against the cold, isolated backdrop” of Scotland, 1996.
The key character Simon Ordellas is called back to the island of St. Amelia to ‘put things right’. He ventures into a town lying beneath a heavy fog, seemingly abandoned but not at rest. As he ventures deeper, driven to understand his connection to the place and its inhabitants, Simon begins to discover the past.
Key Features
- Explore, evade, and survive: Use a limited set of weapons and tools, including the CRTV, a pocket television used to tune into unstable signals. Evasion is tense; combat is frenetic, while narrative driven puzzles reveal a truth that refuses to stay submerged.
- Experience the game in first person: All he has on him besides his clothes are an IV bag and a medical wristband with his name on it. He heads to the town with no leads but the voices from the CRTV he picked up along the way.
