Pokémon Champions

Pokémon Champions is a battle-focused multiplayer game for Nintendo Switch and mobile, developed by The Pokémon Company and published by Nintendo.

Pokémon Champions is focused on the competitive side of Pokémon battling, featuring familiar mechanics, abilities, and moves from the mainline Pokémon games, as players battle against each other online.

It is described as a “free-to-start” game, with players able to optionally purchase a Starter Pack bundle for 50 more Pokémon storage, the “Battle! (Trainer Battle)” song from Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, 30 Teammate Tickets, and 50 Training Tickets.

A synopsis reads, “Get ready to experience everything you love about Pokémon battles all in one place—in Pokémon Champions. This new, battle-focused game will feature familiar mechanics such as Pokémon types, Abilities, and moves, creating an environment conducive to rich and varied strategies for new and experienced Trainers alike.”
