Mass Effect 4 was an action role-playing game in development at former studio BioWare.
BioWare first announced it was working on a new Mass Effect in November 2020. “We are in early stages on the project and can’t say any more just yet, but we’re looking forward to sharing our vision for where we’ll be going next,” it said.
The project was cancelled and BioWare closed by parent company EA in 2026.
