Publisher Electronic Arts claims Battlefield 2042 harnesses “the power of next generation platforms to bring massive immersive battles to life with more players than ever before” on “maps with unprecedented scale”. Developed by DICE, the sequel is set to be released for consoles and PC in October 2021.
