Take-Two Interactive

Take-Two Interactive

Take-Two Interactive is an American video game holding company founded in 1993 by Ryan Brant and based in New York City.

T2 owns three publishing labels: Rockstar Games, Zynga, and 2K. T2 also owns 50% of the professional esports organization, the NBA 2K League, through Take-Two Media. Grand Theft Auto, BioShock, WWE 2K, Borderlands, Mafia, and Red Dead are all part of Take-Two’s franchises.

T2 created the Private Division label for indie game publishing and later sold it in 2024 to a private equity firm.

To establish a presence in the mobile game market, it acquired developers Socialpoint, Playdots, and Nordeus.

As of April 2025, T2 was named as one of the largest publicly traded game companies globally.
