Atlus

Atlus is a Japanese game developer and publisher owned by Sega.

Former in 1986, Atlus went on to create many renowned game series, including Megami Tensei, Persona, Etrian Odyssey, and Trauma Center.

After it was merged with Index Corporation in 2012, Atlus fell into financial trouble and was eventually acquired by Sega in 2013.

Atlus currently has three internal development divisions. Team Maniax works on Shin Megami Tensei, P-Studio is responsible for mainline Persona games, and Studio Zero created Metaphor: ReFantazio.
