Pearl Abyss
Pearl Abyss is a South Korean video game developer known for the MMO Black Desert Online and the open-world action-adventure game, Crimson Desert.
The company was founded in 2012 by Kim Daeil and Youn Jaemin.
CCP Games was acquired by Pearl Abyss in 2018, for around $425 million. CCP Games development studios continue under its name, CCP Games. However, the publishing and marketing of CCP Games is now integrated with Pearl Abyss.
