Larian Studios
Larian Studios is a Belgian game developer based in Ghent, Belgium, and is best known for the Divinity series.
The company was founded in 1996 by Swen Vincke. It mainly develops RPGs, although it has created casino and educational games.
Larian is most known for the Divinity series and Baldur’s Gate 3. Baldur’s Gate 3, an RPG, received many awards, including Game of the Year awards from The Game Awards and the D.I.C.E. Awards.
Larian Studios has expanded from the Headquarters in Ghent, Belgium, and now has studios in Canada, Ireland, Malaysia, the UK, Spain, and Poland.
