Krafton

Krafton (formerly Bluehole) is a South Korean video game company best known for developing TERA, inZOI, and PUBG: Battlegrounds.

The company was founded in 2018 by Chang Byung-gyu as a parent company for Bluehole, which was founded in 2007.

Bluehole has acquired several development studios since its founding. The subsidiaries were then reorganized under one parent company, Krafton Game Union.

Krafton supports many companies and studios worldwide. In 2025, Krafton announced it was supporting indie game developers over a three-year period with Blue Fund Games, a $30 million venture capital fund. It has also launched an investment fund with Naver Corporation and Mirae Asset Securities to support technology startups in India.
