PS5 memes: the internet reacts to Sony’s console design

Last night’s PlayStation event was advertised as a software showcase (in fairness over 25 games were revealed) but it was arguably the PS5 console design unveiling which stole the headlines—and inspired a load of memes.

Now that you know what both Sony’s and Microsoft’s upcoming boxes look like, you can start deciding whether you’d like to add a PS5 ‘Router’ or an Xbox Series X ‘Fridge’ to your living room this holiday season, or whether you might just stick with your existing current-gen and/or Switch ‘Toaster’ set-up until the inevitable next-gen hardware revisions launch.
